About the Blog

An Arrow to the Knee is just a little blog I created with the destruction of a potentially great blogging service (GOOD BYE, POSTEROUS. YOU WERE AWESOME… for about a year) because they got sold to one of the giant social medias (I forget which) and got discontinued shortly after. Guys, that is what I call burying the competition.

Anyway, considering the content of my last blog, I decided to go a different route and select one of the things I do quite often and enjoy; games. Of course, with the focus on Skyrim and my love of modding games there’s quite a bit of modding stuff going up too. Really though, this creating a tutorial people will use isn’t really my goal; god knows there are tutorials out there already. It’s just a record of things I do, the way I do them, and my notes and thoughts on the process, hopefully with a bit of humor added in. Yep, they’re basically just a work journal to help me remember later what I did. And it works! It really does. A lot, especially when I’ve been away for a long time. A lot of this stuff is all pretty simple… yes, but one thing I absolutely detest is having to go through thirty thousand forum posts to find the info I need (again). That said I do hope people outside of myself find some use for them. Of course, my interests do not extend to just Skyrim. I have quite a few favorites, so sometimes I will write on those, do reviews, or write about an event I’ve been to. When all is said and done though, it’s just for fun.
